The Argentine Bishops' Conference has opened a website with the pope's schedule, details of the celebrations and meetings, registration forms for the faithful from October 8, and accreditation information for journalists. The visit runs November 8 to 11
The Argentine Bishops' Conference (CEA) has launched the official website for Pope Leo XIV's visit to Argentina, scheduled for November 8 to 11. Agencia Informativa Católica Argentina (AICA), the Argentine Catholic news agency, announced the site, which is intended to serve as the main channel for information and for organizing the activities planned during the pope's stay in the country.
The site will provide access to the pope's schedule, along with updated information on the celebrations and meetings that will take place. It will also carry details on how to attend, practical guidance and the information people need to take part.
Organized participation by the faithful
The website is designed to help the faithful organize their participation and take a leading part in the celebrations and meetings with the pope. The portal will include support materials and reference content on the scheduled activities, as well as sections where communities preparing to receive the pope can submit questions.
From October 8, the site will open registration forms for volunteers and members of the faithful who want to take part in the celebrations. The CEA's aim is to make participation accessible and orderly, so that the faithful can organize in advance and know exactly what requirements and procedures to follow to join the pope at his events.
Accreditation for news media
The site will also provide information on the accreditation process for journalists and news organizations.
