The church of San Pedro el Viejo, at 14 Calle Nuncio in Madrid, will host the traditional besamano for María Santísima del Dulce Nombre en su Soledad from September 11 to 13, to mark the feast of this Marian title. In the besamano, the faithful venerate the image by kissing its hand. The image is the titular of the Hermandad Jesús El Pobre, one of the city's confraternities.

The main day will be September 13. At noon the auxiliary bishop of Madrid, Vicente Martín, will preside at a solemn Mass in honor of the Virgin. The choir Camino y Rocío, of the Hermandad del Rocío de la Estrella, will provide the music.

The confraternity has also scheduled an evening rosary for Saturday, September 19, at 8 p.m. The image will lead the rosary, which will pass through the streets around the church and offer participants a time of prayer and recollection.
